We went on a hike up Rattlesnake Canyon in Santa Barbara and saw this Humboldt's Lily. I think the color is striking. This particular plant was on an embankment above the creek and over seven feet tall. This plant is native to California and I'm going to look for it the next time I'm at the Santa Barbra Botanical Garden plant shop.
