This little Bushtit has been visiting us for the last few days. It likes to hang out just outside the kitchen French doors, making short flights between the begonias, geraniums and the door. I like how it peeks inside the house.
A small flock of Bushtits flew through the garden. As they were jumping from branch to branch, I was able to get a few pictures of this one eating some small bugs in the Cape Honeysuckle.
The rosemary is full of blooms and about a half dozen Bushtit's. They were jumping about eating tiny bugs. It looks like they are just sitting there, but they never stayed on one place for more than a few seconds. Then with a fluttering flight pattern they would fly deeper into the bushes.
