A few days ago the Flying Saucer Cactus started growing a large bud.

By sunrise the bloom was 9 1/2 inches in diameter.

I noticed something was inside one of the pitchers, of my White Wizard Pitcher plant (Sarracenia). I took a look inside and saw a spider. I don't know if it thinks it found a good place to trap bugs, or if it's making slow slide down and becoming dinner? It really hasn't moved much in the last few days, but I'll keep an eye on it.

I purchased this Opuntia Cylindrica Cristata last weekend. I repotted it and I'm happy to say that I only got two spines in my hand! But I got three spines in my hand putting the label in the pot!
