Walking Stick Insect

 I found this walking stick insect in my workshop this morning.  It's small, with a body that's only 3/4 of an inch long.  I think it hitched a ride on my sleeve, so I released back outside.

I haven't seen a walking stick around here for a long time and I only saw this one because it was on the red brick steps. It must have been hiding in the dead tree or palm fronds that were cut down the other day. I put it in the maple tree for better camouflage.

I found a Walking Stick!

I was cutting up some dead palm fronds and found this walking stick.

It has great camouflage for hiding.

I put it back on the trunk of the palm tree.
