Mike wanted to be in the pictures so that
people can get an idea of the size of this Agave Salmiana. Mike climbed into
the agave for the pictures. In the last picture he is standing on the ground.
The edges of the leaves have sharp spines and the leaves are wet and slippery
from today's rain. Mike was able to get out with only one wound! Plus he found
a white wooden post! Meanwhile the bloom stalk continues to grow.

Wow! Good job! Now we need to know how tall you are ;) Maybe next time, for safety, take a yardstick, or perhaps just measure one of the obviously smaller leaves. It's hard to think of what else you might use to show the size that still fits in there and everyone would recognize. Maybe a standard bicycle. Debby in Abq, NM where it's raining currently.
