Nice to see! All we have around here in Albuquerque are the browns and dark greens of sleeping bushes and various deciduous trees (as well as pines), and grays and dirty yellows of fallen leaves and dormant grass. However, we have the pretty yellow of lesser goldfinches and the splash of red from house finches and the occasional woodpecker. That's just in my neighborhood, where they come to eat food I put out. Were I to walk to the river, I'd probably see a bit more color and more birds (geese, ducks, etc.). Maybe some Kinglets as well with the red spot on the (his?) head.
