Petrified Forest National Park - Petrified Trees

When I finally got to the petrified trees I was amazed at the brilliant colors, size and quantity.  It was amazing.  I couldn't stop taking pictures and I have many more pictures that I didn't publish on this blog.  I was running out of daylight and there was still more to see.  I'm looking forward to returning back to the Petrified Forest National Park.

Here is an explanation of the petrified trees.

The Aloes are in Bloom!

Today I took some pictures of the Aloes at Alice Keck Park Memorial Gardens.  The hummingbird liked the yellow aloe!

Looking for red in the garden

Today I was looking for the color red in the garden and this is what I found.

This is the end of a small crop of Pomegranates and these are about the size of small apples.
