Wisteria Blooms
The wisteria vine that is growing up through the pine tree, is now blooming! I like the color and watching it grow and bloom. As the blooms open up, a few bees will be visiting!

A Bunny In The Rosemary!
The other morning I looked out the kitchen window, and saw this rabbit nibbling on the rosemary! There are at least two rabbits in the garden and I'm sure there will be more on the way. Unfortunately they also ate the California poppies and sweet peas. So far they have been staying away from the begonias!

Senecio Stapeliiformis 'Kilimanjro'
The Senecio Stapeliiformis 'Kilimanjro' has it's first bloom! I bought this succulent many months ago because the shape and color pattern caught my eye. I'm happy to see a colorful bloom shooting out of the top!

Chocolate Geranium!
I really like the chocolate brown leaves with bright green edges of this geranium. It's from the Chocolate series from Dummen Orange.

Thimble Cactus
I acquired this mammillaria gracilis fragilis (thimble cactus) several years
ago. I was at a begonia show and this cactus was off to the side with some other
plants for sale. It was much smaller and looked like it might have seen better
days. The show was closing and I was told 'oh just take that one, it's free'!
Some cactus I kill quickly, others I kill slowly, and sometimes they thrive!
This one has done well and I like the little blooms.
