I went to the Santa Barbara Botanical Garden to take some pictures. This 78 acre garden contains over 1,000 species of rare and indigenous California plants. Considering that we are in the fourth year of a sever drought, the plants are holding up really well. My favorite part is the Redwood Section.

I was surprised to see so many plants in bloom given the time of year and the drought.
I received this succulent Echeveria laui x Tacitus bellus last month from my friend Diane Dunhill and she said it would have a nice bloom. It certainly does.
We have a small water feature with four goldfish with water hyacinth growing on the surface. The water hyacinth grow like mad and I'm thinning it out on a weekly basis. I seem to get only only bloom a year. This one is from last year that I never posted.
